Rehabilitation with Ekso Bionics™ exoskeleton
The exoskeleton is an electromechanical device which, as its name suggests, simulates an external skeleton and allows people with partial or total absence of strength in one or both legs to walk. Thus, it makes gait possible in an almost natural way.
It has different settings, being able to select different degrees of force to be exerted by the device according to the strength of the person. It also has different types of action, so that it may be activated by the patient himself as the rehabilitation progresses, always under the supervision of qualified personnel.
The exoskeleton facilitates functional and safe gait rehabilitation. It helps to walk since the first session and, according to the possibilities of each person, achieve a walking pattern close to the natural.

Verticalisation and movement with Erigo™ Basic
Erigo™ combines gradual verticalisation with rhythmic leg movement and loading to ensure the necessary safety for the stabilisation of the patient in the upright position. By providing a safe solution for early mobilization, Erigo™ counteracts the negative effects of immobility.

Upper-limb treatment with Armeo™ Spring
The ergonomic and adjustable arm support is an exoskeleton with integrated springs. It embraces the whole arm, from shoulder to hand, and counterbalances the weight of the patient’s arm, enhancing any residual function and neuromuscular control, and assisting active movement across a large 3D workspace.
It provides the following key benefits, among others: it enables independent arm and hand training for moderately to severely impaired patients; the ergonomic exoskeleton enables functional and self-initiated movement therapy; the extensive 3D workspace supports simultaneous arm and hand therapy.
Moreover, it motivates patients through its Augmented Performance Feedback exercises for arm and hand training, providing assessment for an objective analysis, while at the same time documenting patient progress.

Gait training system with partial weight suspension, Biodex ™
It is a system composed of a treadmill, a partial-weight-bearing arc and the corresponding software (Gait Trainer 3). It allows gait training for those who do not have strength or skill enough to do it independently, facilitating the acquisition of these skills in a safe and efficient manner.
The treadmill, equipped with sensors, provides visual and audio feedback of stride length and stride velocity, as well as other parameters needed for gait training.

Dynavision D2 ™
Visual training device, fully programmable, which seeks to improve eye-motor, visual-perceptual and sensory coordination. Visual stimuli allow different body movements to maximise, among others, balance and trunk control, arms mobility and coordination.

Bi-Manu-Track™
This device has been designed for the upper limb treatment. Its use involves the performance of repetitive movements passively in order to reduce spasticity, mobilise and strengthen muscles in a passive, active or active-assisted form. It works with pronation and supination movements of the forearm and the flexion/extension of the wrist, that is, the main movements involved in improving manipulative skills. Fully adjustable in amplitude, speed and frequency.

Reha-Digi™
Some small heads for each finger allow the mobilisation and relaxation of the hand. Through vibration with repetitive passive movements, the sensory stimulation of the fingers increases. It also performs a massage that encourages the reduction of spasticity and rigidity in the hand. Adjustable according to the characteristics of each person.

Boditrack™ pressure mapping platform
This pressure mapping platform is a mat-like device which combines a series of sensors that allow the visualisation of the pressure distribution between two given surfaces.
The system provides information about the existing pressure between the user and his or her cushion, in order to prevent pressure ulcers by ensuring optimal positioning. Pressure mapping can be conducted while the user is sitting down or lying on a bed.

Virtual Reality
Wii™ and Wii™ Balance Board™
The Nintendo Wii ™ console captures three-dimensional movements of the person who uses it, thanks to an infra-red wireless controller and a sensor bar. The Fundación Lesionado Medular has developed a skill training programme through the console and its games. This new tool allows us to work different motor skills in a highly motivating context.
Kinect™
This device identifies the body parts and creates a moving skeleton, the patient becoming the controller itself. The Kinect™ system is proving to be a real game-changer in the world of rehabilitation, providing a system in which the patient does not need remote controls but interacts with the game using his or her own body. Such a system brings many advantages to the rehabilitation process. Depending on the type of game, motor skills that require an active role by the patient are trained.
Leap Motion™
It is a sensor that allows us to control the computer through gestures in the air, either using fingers or the whole hand. It draws a virtual image of our hands and joints, thereby allowing us to interact with the computer without a mouse. Through different games, it allows us to work complex hand motor components, difficult to work with conventional material.

Reck Moto Viva™ for upper and lower limbs
We have different types of electric bikes that allow us to achieve a controlled movement of the joints of the upper and lower limbs and, according to the possibilities of each patient, the strengthening of the muscles of the affected limbs.
Depending on the characteristics of the person, it is used with software that provides a feedback that allows the improvement in the performance of assisted or resisted active exercises for the lower limb.

Electrotherapy
We have a wide variety of devices with different characteristics for the treatment of pain, contractures, spasticity, inflammatory states, and others.
- Shock waves: they generate high-energy acoustic waves used in the treatment of tendinopathies and other inflammatory conditions affecting the tendons.
- Functional electrical stimulation: it stimulates the peripheral nervous system to generate muscle contraction in order to build up strength.
- Ultrasound: it generates high frequency mechanical waves that bring heat to the tissues, aiding the healing of certain inflammatory processes.
- TENS (Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation): it provides pain relief by exciting peripheral nerves.
- LASER
- Shortwave
- Microwave
- Magneto therapy: it applies electromagnetic energy to boost tissue regeneration.
